Abstract:In recent years,the vacuum glass industry has developed rapidly,and the support piHars in vacuum cavity directly affect the transparency,stress,thermal conductivity and other properties of the vacuum glass.In this paper,a glass—ceramic based vacuum glass support pillars with moderate elastic modulus and adjustable thermal deformation were prepared.The preparation technology and its influence on the mechanical properties and thermal conductivity of glass were studied.The results show that the support pillar material powder with particle size distribution between 0.5-10 Ixm is concentrated.The matrix of support pillars with controllable size between 0.2-0.35 nlnl in height and 0.5-1.0 rain in diameter are prepared by dispensing process.After thermal tempering,the support pillars are precipitated into a glass—ceramic structure to improve the strength.Support pillars change from”point contact”to’’surface contact’’can effectively avoid the crushing of the support pillars and the glass micro·crack,and appropriate adjustment of the size and the spacing of the support pillars can make the glass have low thermal conductivity on the basis of ensuring the mechanical properties.
